Farmer support, for us, is a year-round commitment that begins long before the harvest and continues long after it ends. Our field teams are present in the farming communities throughout the full agricultural cycle: Advising, assisting, and building the kind of trust that only consistent presence earns. Tech, facilities, seed, credit facilities. Our teams work around the clock throughout the year catering to our farmers.

At Alliance, our cane development programme spans both our contracted farmer network and our own corporate farming operations, thousands of acres managed directly by the best teams, with the specific purpose of producing high-quality seed cane and demonstrating best practices to the wider farming community.

Through our farmer support programme, we make the best quality fertilizers available to our growers at competitive prices, during the growing season when accessibility and affordability are most critical. Our field teams advise on appropriate application rates and timing, tailored to soil type, cane variety, and irrigation regime.

03 Corporate Farming
Our corporate farming operations serve a dual purpose. Commercially, they give us direct control over a portion of our cane supply, insulating us from procurement risk and ensuring a reliable core of high-quality raw material. Agronomically, they are our proof-of-concept: the fields where new varieties are trialled, new practices are tested, and the results are made visible to the farmers who supply us.
