About Us
Alliance Sugar Mills Limited (ASML) is a leading agribusiness institution engaged in the production of white refined sugar from sugarcane, with integrated operations spanning energy generation, molasses processing, and corporate farming.
Strategically located in Ubauro, District Ghotki, on the border of Sindh and South Punjab, ASML operates in one of Pakistan’s most productive sugarcane-growing belts. This geography is not incidental. It is the foundation of our operational advantage: superior cane quality and strong farmer relationships built over generations.
Our mills have been operational
SINCE JANUARY 2013
In the years since, we have grown into one of the top-ranked mills in Sindh by production volume, maintained industry-leading sucrose recovery rates, and expanded our business to include corporate farming, directly cultivating thousands of acres with the best-performing cane varieties, managed under close supervision of SENIOR leadership.
We operate within a fully integrated model: every part of the cane is utilised. Sugar is sold domestically and exported. Bagasse powers our captive energy operations. Molasses is channelled into downstream processing. This integration reflects a deliberate, long-term approach to value creation; one that reduces waste, protects margins, and builds resilience.
Our Mission
To produce high-quality sugar and agricultural commodities with consistent operational discipline, support the productivity and viability of farming communities across Sindh and South Punjab, and deliver sustainable value to investors, partners, and the broader economy through an integrated and responsibly managed agribusiness.
Our Vision
To be recognised as Pakistan’s most efficient and trusted agribusiness institution distinguished by the quality of our output, the integrity of our operations, and the strength of our relationships with the farmers, institutions, and communities we serve.
Since January 2013
Alliance Sugar Mills Limited is incorporated. The vision: to build a vertically integrated, professionally managed agribusiness in one of Pakistan’s most productive agricultural zones.
The mill achieves its Commercial Operations Date (COD) in January. Processing begins in the Ghotki-RYK belt, with an immediate focus on cane quality, farmer relationships, and operational efficiency.
ASML steadily builds its reputation as one of Sindh’s most reliable and efficient sugar producers. Sucrose recovery rates consistently exceed provincial averages. Farmer engagement programmes are formalised. The company earns its place among the top mills in the province.
ASML strengthens its integrated business model, improving efficiency across the value chain. Captive power operations are optimised, molasses supply chains are formalised, and export capabilities expand. These investments establish a stronger foundation for long-term growth and operational resilience.
The company invests in data infrastructure, quality systems, and environmental compliance to support a modern, resilient operation. A key milestone is the launch of the corporate farming vertical, creating a backward-integrated model for direct cultivation of high-yield sugarcane and greater control over quality and yield. Today, Alliance combines industry expertise with a long-term vision focused on building an institution that endures for generations.

Corporate Strategy
Our strategy is straightforward: do the fundamentals exceptionally well, and build around them with discipline.
Quality Before Volume
We focus on the quality of our cane, our processing, and our output, not on chasing production numbers at the expense of consistency. Our cane supply both from our farmers and our corporate farming operations is grown to our own standards, with the best available varieties managed by our teams.
Farmer Relationships as Competitive Advantage
Our relationships with the growers in Ghotki and South Punjab are among our most important assets. We provide agricultural credit, premium inputs, and technical training because we understand that the quality of our sugar begins in the field, not the mill
Integrated Value Extraction
Every output from our operations has a purpose. Sugar is processed and sold. Bagasse is converted to energy. Molasses feeds downstream production. This integration compresses costs and creates multiple sources of value from a single raw material.
Responsible Growth
We grow with care. Our investments in environmental compliance, employee welfare, and community development are not separate from our business strategy, they are part of it. A stable, well-regarded institution with deep community roots is a stronger business.
